Title - Indian Railways will automatically allot vacant seats to wait list passengers of subsequent stations

Indian Railways is continuously working on to increase passengers travelling experience. The biggest issue for a train passenger is to get a confirm ticket, which especially on busiest routes is hard to get. What railway has done this time is that once second chart is prepared on originating station of a train, the leftover vacant seats will be allotted automatically to wait-listed passengers of subsequent stations.

Currently, the automatic allotments by Passenger Reservation System (PRS) of vacant seats are only done for wait listed passengers of originating station.
