Western Railway has announced an AC special Train between Chennai Central and Ahmedabad. This train will run only on November 5 via Vasai Road. 06039 Chennai Central – Ahmedabad AC Special train will depart from Chennai Central at 08:00PM in the evening and will reach Ahmedabad at 05:45AM in the morning of third day. The train will arrive at Vasai Road at 10:20PM next day from the date of departure. 06039 Chennai Central – Ahmedabad AC Special train will consist only of AC III tier coaches. It will stop enroute on the following stations – Arakkonam, Renigunta, Koduru, Razampeta, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Wadi, Solapur, Pune, Panvel, Vasai Road, Boisar, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand and Nadiad

Amid Chirstmas and New Year South Central Railway has announced 10 special trains between Tirupati and Nagarsol via Secundrabad. 07417 Tirupati – Nagarsol will run on December 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. This train will depart from Tirupati at 07:30AM in the morning every Friday and will reach Nagarsol at 11:55AM next day. The train will arrive at Secundrabad at 08:15PM on the same day of its departure from Tirupati. 07418 Nagarsol - Tirupati Special Train will run on December 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31. This train will depart Nagarsol at 10:00PM in the night of Saturdays and will reach Tirupati at 04:00AM in the Monday morning. This train will stop at Secundrabad 11:55AM next day from the day of departure from Nagarsol. 13006 Amritsar – Hawda Mail is running 17hours and 20 minutes late. The train was scheduled to depart from Amritsar at 06:40PM today but due to immense delay the train can only depart tomorrow at 12:00PM noon. The extreme delay will also affect its scheduled arrival time at Howrah which is 07:20AM in the morning of third day.

The fate of special trains remains as horrible as it can be in Indian Railways. Southern Railway announced a special train to clear the extra rush from Kochuveli to Guwahati - 06336 Kochuveli – Guwahati Special but it is running as much as 20 hrs late. The train was scheduled to depart from Kochuveli today at 12:00PM in the noon but the new estimated time of departure is tomorrow 08:00AM. Similarly at Kochuveli the train was scheduled to arrive at 08:45AM in the morning of 4th day but the new arrival time is atleast 12 hours late. |

रेलवे काफी समय से हर दूसरी ट्रेन के आगे "सुपररफास्ट" लगा देता है जिससे उसपर लगे अतिरिक्त चार्ज यात्रियों से ले सके पर कभी भी "सुपररफास्ट" ट्रेन सुपरफास्ट तो छोड़ दीजिये पैसेंजर जैसी भी चल ले तो बहुत है|

Railway has been tagging its trains “Superfast” quite often just to make extra money but never this tag has served the purpose. 01435 Pune – Jammutawi Superfast Special is running 27 hrs and 30 mins late which is horrible by any standards. Passengers are in agony at Pune station when they are left waiting for more than a day for a special train that was specifically meant to clear the extra rush. The scheduled departure time of this train was 11:15AM today in the morning but it will go tomorrow at 02:45PM in the afternoon. The mentioned delay too is not fixed as waiting can be endless with addition of minutes by railways. This special train was meant to appease passengers by offering extra seats from Pune to Jammu Tawi but sadly that is nothappening at all. The enroute stations for this train are –
