To clear the extra rush of passengers during Ijtema i.e. Muslim Congregation at Ahmedabad, South central Railway will run a special train between Vijayawada and Ahmedabad.

07139 Vijayawada-Ahmedabad Special train will run on December 1 and will depart from Vijaywada at 12:55AM and will arrive Ahmedabad at 09:20AM in the morning next day.

In the return direction 07140 Ahmedabad-Vijayawada Special will run on December 4 and will depart from Ahmedabad at 11:25PM in the night and will arrive Vijaywada at 04:00AM in the morning of December 6.

Enroute stoppages for this train are –

Madhira, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Kazipet, Jammikunta, Ramagundam, Bellampalli, Sirpurkagaznagar, Balharshah, Wardha, Badhinera, Akola, Bhushaval, Jalgaon, Amalner, Nandurbar, Surat, Bhanuch, Vadodara, Anand and Nadiad

Eight sleeper class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches will form this train.

07018 Hyderabad-Ahmedabad Special will run on December 1, 2016 and will depart Hyderabad at 04:00AM in the morning and will arrive Ahmedabad at 09:20AM in the morning next day. The arrival time of this train at Secunderabad is 04:25AM where it will halt for about 5 minutes.

In the return direction, 07017 Ahmedabad-Hyderabad Special will depart from Ahmedabad at 11:25PM in the night on December 4, 2016. It will arrive on Secunderabad on December 6 at 02:30AM and Hyderabad at 03:30AM in the morning.

Railway has announced a two day temporary stoppage for two pairs of trains at Sanchi where Buddha fare is organised for today and tomorrow.

These trains will stop for two minutes at Sanchi.

12615 Chennai – Delhi Sarai Rohilla GT Express will arrive sanchi station today at 07:58PM in the evening and will depart after two minutes. In the return direction 12616 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Chennai GT express will arrive Sanchi at 04:30AM in the morning and will depart after two minutes.

18237 Bilaspur – Amritsar Express will arrive at Sanchi in the morning at 07:00AM and will depart after two minutes while in the return direction 18238 Amritsar – Bilaspur Express will arrive Sanchi at 06:00PM and will depart after two minutes.

Long distance and suburban train services affected adversely when an OHE cable broke between Titwala and Ambivala today.

Atleast five trains terminated shortly or cancelled due to the incident.

• 12110 Panchavati Express that runs from Manmad to CSTM was terminated at Itagpuri toady.
• 12109 Panchvati Express from CSTM to Manmad is cancelled today.
• 11025 Bhusaval Pune Express was terminated at Itagpuri.
• 11026 Pune-Bhusaval Express is cancelled between Pune and Bhusaval.
• 12157 Pune-Solapur Express will run with rake of 11026 at Pune.

Apart from this 12102 Howrah-LTT Express were brought to Kalyan by Diesel locomotives individually. At 10.55AM traffic was restored o­n this line and 12541 Gorakhpur-LTT Express was the first train to pass this section at 11.08AM.

पश्चिमी केंद्रीय रेलवे ने यात्रियों की भीड़ देखते हुए जबलपुर - मंडुआडीह - जबलपुर एक्सप्रेस में अतिरिक्त डिब्बे लगाने का फैसला किया है| 15117 / 15118 जबलपुर - मंडुआडीह - जबलपुर एक्सप्रेस में सामान्य श्रेणी के दो डिब्बे लगाए जायेंगे| रेलवे ने ये सुविधा अस्थाई तौर पर लागू की है|
26 नवम्बर से 1 जनवरी तक ये व्यवस्था लागू रहेगी |

इंदौर पटना ट्रेन दुर्घटना को अभी ज्यादा दिन नहीं हुए थे कि कानपुर से झाँसी जा रही उद्योगकर्मी एक्सप्रेस के यात्रियों में तब हलचल मच गयी जब डिब्बे में से अजीब आवाज़ें आने लगी| यात्रियों ने तुरंत चेन खेंच कर ट्रैन को रोका और गार्ड को आवाज़ के बारे में बताया |
ट्रेन के गार्ड ने झाँसी स्टेशन पर सूचित किया और रेलवे की टेक्निकल टीम को आने के लिए कहा जो कुछ घण्टो बाद ही आ सकी| कानपुर से चलने वाली ये ट्रेन झाँसी जा रही थी कि रसूलपुर के पास पहुंचते ही इसके एक डिब्बे में आवाज़ें आने लगी थी| टेक्निकल टीम के आने तक ट्रेन जहाँ तहाँ खड़ी रही और जबतक खराबी दूर नहीं कि गयी आगे नहीं बढ़ी जिस कारण ये गाडी पूरे तीन घण्टे के करीब विलम्ब हो गयी|
जांच पर पता चला कि डिब्बे का एक पहिया ब्रेक जाम होने की वजह से घूम नहीं रहा था|

Only few days has passed of the tragedy that occurred with Indore – Patna Express in which life of at least 150 passengers faded away; when panic gripped passengers of Udyogkarmi Express that was on the move towards Jhansi from Kanpur yesterday.

The unusual noise coming out of the coach forced passengers to pull the chain to stop 12944 Udyogkarmi Express. The train remain halted at the station for three hours till the fault was rectified by railway’s technical department.

The train departed from Kanpur for Jhansi and was approaching Rasoolpur when passengers heard unusual noise coming out from the coach. Immediately they pulled the chain and raised alarm after which a message was sent to Jhansi railway station by the guard. Technical team arrived only after few hours to take care of the noise which delayed train for about three hours.

It was discovered that wheel was not rotating properly due to jammed brakes.

Eastern railway has decided to attach more AC coaches to Bagh Express in order to mobilize winter rush easily.

13019 Up and 13020 Down Howrah-Kathgodam-Howrah Bagh Express will be getting an additional AC 3-Tier coach from November 25 to January 2, 2017 for up train and from November 27 to January 4, 2017 for down train.

Eastern Railway has altered the timing of two suburban train that run from Sealdah. In a partial modification two EMU loclas 34724 Dn Sealdah (South) – Namkhana and 34126 Dn Sealdah (South) – Budge Budge will run as per the revised time from 26 November.

34126 Dn Sealdah-Budge Budge local will depart from Sealdah south station at 09:22AM as per the new schedule. This is a marginal revision of time as its earlier departure time was 09:16AM. This in turn will affect the arrival time at other stations marginally. It will arrive Ballygunge Jn at 09:32AM, New Alipore (Kol) at 09:44AM, Majerhat at 09:48AM & Budge Budge at 10:15AM respectively.

34724 Dn Sealdah-Namkhana local will depart from Sealdah south station at 09:16AM against its earlier departure time off 09:23AM. Marginal change will also affect the time further on enroute stations. It will arrive Ballygunge Jn at 09:26AM, Sonarpur Jn at 09:44AM, Baruipur Jn at 10:01AM & Lakshmikantapur at 11:00AM.
