Secunderabad - Raxaul Special train

• Train number 07091 will depart every Tuesday from Secunderabad from July 3 to July 31.
• Secunderabad departure time - 09:40 PM 
• Raxaul arrival time - 06:15 PM on Thursday

• Train number 07092 will depart every Friday from Raxaul from July 6 to August 3.
• Raxaul departure time - 12:45 PM
• Secunderabad arrival time - 06:55 AM on Sundays

Recently suburban train route over Howrah Division has connected Barddhaman Jn. to Katwa Jn. (via Balgona). Consequently, Howrah – Barddhaman (via Main/Chord), Barddhaman – Katwa (via Balgona) and Katwa – Howrah sections are formed o­ne circular route. For covering o­ne round of circular route, the location of ‘VENDOR’ coach of the EMU trains will be changed with respect to existing nominated place of platform. 
In order to standardize the 12-Car EMU rake composition, the change of location becomes necessary so that even after reversing the rake, the position of ‘LADIES’ and ‘VENDOR’ coaches remain unaltered.

Standardization of formation of all the existing EMU rakes will be done from 1 May to 30 May, 2018. Meanwhile, EMU trains will run with both new & old composition which may cause some inconveniences to vendor & ladies coach passengers.

From  02 April  to 22 April, 2018 Eastern railway conducted massive ticket checking drives all over its jurisdiction. During ticket checking drive 1,41,396 persons were detected travelling without or with improper ticket overall. Also an amount of Rs. 2,95,81,411 was realised from offenders carrying unbooked luggage in the form of fare and fine.

According to the latest notification from rail officials, such ticket checking drives over Eastern Railway will be done on continuous basis.

Central Railway will operate Mega rail traffic Block on Main line and Harbour line for carrying out maintenance work o­n April 29 -


Up Harbour services for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai leaving Panvel / Belapur from 11.06 am to 4.34 pm and Down harbour line services for Panvel / Belapur leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 10.03 am to 3.39 pm will remain cancelled.

Panvel-Thane Up Trans harbour line services leaving Panvel from 10.12 am to 4.26 pm and Thane-Panvel Down Trans harbour line services leaving Thane from 11.14 am to 4.00 pm will remain cancelled.

Panvel-Andheri services will remain cancelled during the block period.

Special services will be run o­n Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai – Vashi section. Due to these blocks, suburban trains are likely to be more crowded than usual.

Central Railway will operate Mega Block on Main line and Harbour line for carrying out maintenance work o­n April 29 - Sunday.

Down Slow / Semi fast line services leaving Mulund station from 10.47 am to 3.50 pm will be diverted o­n Down fast line between Mulund and Kalyan stations halting at Thane, Diva and Dombivli stations and will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.


Down slow locals will not be available at Kalva, Mumbra, Kopar and Thakurli stations during the block period. Passengers of these stations are allowed to travel via Kalyan, Dombivali and Diva, Thane stations.


Up fast services leaving Kalyan from 10.37 am to 3.06 pm will halt at Diva, Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar and Kurla stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 15 minutes behind schedule beyond.

Down fast services leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Mumbai from 10.05 am to 2.54 pm will halt at Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Diva stations in addition to their respective scheduled halts and will arrive destination 20 minutes behind schedule.
All Down and Up slow locals leaving / arriving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm will arrive destination 10 minutes behind schedule.

One minute temporary halt has been provided to 11 trains at Uruli station by Central Railway for pilgrims of Shri Prayagdham Trust attending Annual festival of Bhandara. The details are given below -

• 12148 Niazamuddin-Kolhapur Express on May 25.
• 22686 Chandigarh-Yeshwantpur Sampark Kranti Express on May 30.

• 12779 / 12780 Vasco-Hazrat Nizamuddin- Vasco Goa Express from May 27 to June 5.
• 12104 Lucknow-Pune Express on May 28.

For safety related modernisation work between Muribahal & Rahenbata Stations and Kantabanji-Muribahal Railway Stations in Titilagarh-Raipur Railway Section under Sambalpur Railway Division; East Coast Railway has suspended services of the following passenger train services fully and partially -

These below given trains will remain cancelled -

• Train number 58218 Raipur-Titlagarh passenger on April 28 and May 1.
• Train number 58527 Raipur-Visakhapatnam passenger on April 30.
• Train number 58217 Titlagarh-Raipur passenger from Titlagarh on April 30.

• Train number 58528 Visakhapatnam-Raipur passenger will be terminated at Titlagarh on April 30.

Lingampalli – Kakinada Town Special Train

Train number of this one way special train is 07101.

This train will run on Saturday - April 28 and will depart from Lingampalli at 05:00 AM in the morning. The arrival time at Secunderabad is 05:35 AM and at Kakinada Town is 04:30 PM same day afternoon.

This special train will have AC Chair Car, General Second Class and Chair Car and Luggage cum Brake van coaches.

Tirupati - Kacheguda Special Train

Train number 07146 Special will run every Thursday from July 5 to August 2 from Tirupati. The departure time from Tirupati is 05:00 PM and the arrival time at Kacheguda is 06:30 AM next day morning.

These special trains will consist of AC second class, AC third class, Sleeper Class, Chair car and SLR coaches.

Halt stations between Tirupati and Kacheguda -

Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal, Kazipet and Jangaon.

Visakhapatnam - Tirupati Special Train

Train number 07479 will depart Visakhapatnam at 07:05 PM in the evening of July 4, 11, 18, 25 and August 1 on Wednesdays.
The arrival time at Tirupati is 099:25 AM the next day morning.


These special trains will have AC 2 tier, AC 3 tier, Sleeper Class, Chair Car and Luggage cum Brake van coaches.


Enroute, this special train will stop at Duvvuda, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations.
