Title - Health Awareness and Blood Donation Camp By Railway Protection Force / SCR

Railway Protection Force (RPF), South Central Railway is celebrating its 28th RPF Raising Day since 20thSeptember.As a part of these celebrations,a “Health Awareness cum Blood Donation Camp” was organized by Security Department of Secunderabad Division in association with the Railway Central Hospital, Lallaguda.The Health Awareness Camp was inaugurated by Sri. B. Mohan, Inspector General Cum Chief Security Commissioner / Railway Protection Force , SCR Head Quarters, Secunderabad by lighting the lamp. Shri J.Swain, Chief Medical Director / SCR and Shri S.K.Mishra, Divisional Railway Manager / Secunderabad Division were the Guests of Honour at the occasion. Dr. Anjaiah, Medical Director / Lallaguda, Dr. Prasad, Dr. Ramesh, Dr. Battacharjee, Dr. T.S. Murthy were also present. Railway officers and staff attended the camp in large number.Dr. Krishnaveni, while speaking at the awareness camp, explained the importance of Blood Donation as a life giving philanthropy and appealed to railway employees to come forward to donate blood. Dr. Pooja elaborated o­n the evils of ‘Addiction to Alcohol and Drugs’ and explained the ways and means to get rid of such additions. Forty RPF personnel of all ranks donated their blood at the camp.Shri S.K. Mishra, Divisional Railway Manager / Secunderabad Division also donated blood.
