Title - Guwahati – Silchar and Guwahati – Agartala routes remain disrupted for second day

Section of North Frontier Railways at Lumding – Silchar is blocked by North Cachar Hills Indigenous Students Forum (NCHISF) for the second day also. This has led to diversion of routes for the trains on Guwahati – Silchar and Guwahati – Agartala routes.

NCHISF continued its indefinite block since 5AM Tuesday demanding immediate release of compensation funds for the affected families by the construction of the Lumding-Silchar broad gauge line.
