Title - Gorakhpur-Mumbai summer special to ease rail rush

ALLAHABAD: To cater to the heavy rush of passengers during the summer season, railway administration has decided to ply a weekly summer special between Gorakhpur and Bandra terminus (Mumbai).

Train number 5061 will depart from Gorakhpur at about 7:10 am and pass through Khalilabad, Basti, Gonda and arrive at Lucknow at 12:40 pm, Kanpur at 2:35 pm, Kannauj at 4:10 pm. It will then proceed via Kasganj, Hathras, mathura, Bharatpur, Sawai madhopur, Kota, Ramganj Mandi, Nagda, Ratlam, Godhra, Vadodra, Bharauch, Surat, Vapi, Borivali and finally terminate at Bandra Terminus next day at about 5:35 pm.

During the return journey, the train will depart from Bandra Terminus at about 5:10 am and terminate at Gorakhpur at 6:45 pm the next day.

This train will depart from Gorakhpur end on June 21 and 28 and from Bandra Terminus end on June 23 and 30. This train will comprise of 16 general coaches.
