Title - Gang busted booking tatkal tickets through fraudulent ways in Gonda

When it comes to book a railway ticket instantly IRCTC is not the first place where you will find a confirm ticket. Taking advantage of this many hackers try to exploit the loopholes in the system and exploit travelers by charging hefty money over the fare. They normally give a confirmation to the passenger that there ticket will be confirmed.

One such gang was busted by the police that used to practise fraudulent ways to book tickets. Normally, they used coded software to book tickets that can generate various IDs and IP address simultaneously.

IRCTC lodged a police complaint when it found out large number of tatkal tickets were booked from some areas of the country. Cyber cell of the police tracked down such IP addresses and arrested the gang involved in such illicit activities.

Five persons were involved from Gonda city among whom class VIII dropout Rameshwar Pandey (27) alias Avinash was involved who is physically challenged.
