Title - Funds sanctioned for rail overbridge

Minister for Public Works V.K. Ibrahim Kunju said here on Thursday that Rs.40 crore had been sanctioned for the construction of a rail overbridge at Panniyankara in the city.He said the State government had taken necessary steps to sign an agreement with the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation for construction activities. The Minister was speaking after inaugurating the renovation work of the V.K. Krishna Menon road near Kallayi railway station.Mr. Kunju said a sum of Rs. 40 crore had been allotted for development of roads in the city.The projects envisaged would be completed in a time-bound manner, he said.
