Ambala:
The Ambala Cantt Sadar police has registered a case against four cops of Ambala Railway Protection Force (RPF) for extorting money from scrap dealers.The scrap dealers had met the Commissioner of Police, Rajbir Deswal, in this regard and complained that some of the RPF personnel had threatened them for false implication also extorted Rs 35,000 from them. The Commissioner of Policedirected Ambala Cantt Sadar police to register a case against the accused RPF personnel. —OC
