Title - Forget seats, even space to sit in sleeper coach is not available in trains this festive season

We know that there are no seats available this Diwali and as the festive time is coming near, confirming seats is becoming harder as it can be. However it is not about just availability of seats, now it is about availability of space to sit.

As Diwali is getting closer day by day, it is hard to get any space to even sit on the seats. The problem is however not in AC coaches but it is the sleeper coach that has taken the biggest hit. You won’t find any difference in sleeper and unreserved coaches. It’s all same, fully packed, especially in trains heading towards Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Railway is worried about the safety of passengers due to which a combined team of vigilance and commerce division has been constructed to look after booking counters on platforms as well as other agencies. This team will prevent black marketing of tickets and agents who practise such tactics.
