Title - Flagging off Upgraded D.E.M.U. Train (Karwar - Pernem) at Karwar Station

An upgraded  DEMU train between Karwar and Pernem has been flagged off on September 04 at Karwar Railway station.

The Upgraded DEMU train  rake has following  salient features:

  • 1600 HP DEMU Rake with state of the art AC-AC traction Electro-Pneumatic brake and Micro-processor Controlled Propulsion system.
  • Konkan Railway always believes in providing better services to its passengers for their comfortable and safe journey.
  • This new design rake with well ventilated Eight Cars will enhance the passenger capacity with improved comfort level.
  • The rake with quick acceleration and quick braking is fit for fast and frequent services.
  • The coaches of this rake have been fitted with Bio-Toilets.
