Title - Five Eastern Railway employees given safety award

Safety awards were granted to five railway employees of Eastern Railway by General Manager, Shri Ghanshyam Singh. All these five employees are of various divisions who were granted safety awards for their remarkable contribution. Following staff were honoured with awards - 

  • Shri Krishna Marandi, Loco Pilot (Malda Division) 
  • Shri Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Loco Pilot, Sahibganj (Malda Division) 
  • Shri Madan Mohan Das & 
  • Shri Ramvenay Kumar, Trackmen, Rampurhat (Howrah Division) 
  • Shri Subrata Mondal, Trackman, Ranaghat (Sealdah Division) 

Eastern Railway GM said that due to constant vigil of staff and officers eastern railway has managed to avert unsafe situations while operating 24x7. Apart from this a safety bulletin was also released.
