Title - First mountain Subway train delivered by Chinese firm

Designed especially for mountainous regions China's first subway train with a capacity of over 2,000 passengers is ready to move.

The contract to make such train was won by China's Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC). The Chinese railways is planning to run the six car train on Line 5 in Chongqing Municipality in southwest China.

Chongqing is also known as city of hills in which Line 5 subway is about 70 meters underground. Once operational it will the deepest metro line in China.

This train can run at a maximum speed of 100 kmph and can ferry 2322 passengers. Apart from this it has a 50 percent better slope performance than the conventional trains.
