Title - First engine less train to replace Delhi - Bhopal Shatabdi Express

The first engine less train of Indian Railways - Train 18 will replace India's fastest Shatabdi Express that runs between Delhi and Bhopal. Train - 18 coaches can hit speeds upto 160kmph as per the given track conditions. 

Train 18 is said to be a huge technological leap for the Indian Railways as this train will be the first self propelled train. Train - 18 is similar to metro trains with driving cabin at both ends. Train - 18 will also help to cut down the travel time between Delhi and Bhopal significantly.

Integral Coach Factory (ICF) Chennai is manufacturing Train 18 and is expected to be ready for trials by the end of September. The testing of this train will be done of Moradabad route and one route in the West.
