Title - First elevated railway track of country to be made in Haryana - Rohtak

Indian Railways has launched its first ever elevated railway track in Haryana's Rohtak. The estimated completion time of this project is 18 months. The idea is to control traffic jam's across Rohtak. The total cost of this project is 405 crore rupees out of which 90 crore rupees will be spent by Railways and rest by Haryana state government.

Once completed, the elevated rail line will eliminate 5 busiest rail crossings of the city. Also, elevated tracks leave no room for trespassing. In addition to this, the Railway Ministry also believes that the project will help them understand how the elevated railway tracks help eliminate heavy traffic woes across congested cities and how it controls the urban transportation chaos.
