Title - Feasibility study for modernization of Indian railroads soon to be done by Russian Railways

Ministry of Railways of India and JSC Russian Railways are ready to finalize an agreement for conducting a feasibility study for the project envisaging the modernization of the lines Nagpur – Secunderabad lines.

At St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) it is expected that both the parties will sign the document.

Last October both the parties agreed to jointly implement the modernization project of 575 kms of stretch of Nagpur – Secunderabad line. The aim of this project is to increase the train speed upto 200kmph.

In February, the company’s subsidiary, LLC RZD international received a permit to operate in India and opened its representative office.
