Title - Even after 3 years, Incomplete underpass leaves Kodigehalli virtually cut off

Even after three years of Kodigehalli underpass foundation laying ceremony, the fate of underpass is yet to take its shape. Underpass construction is still unfinished and had left residents frustrated so much so that there are voices among them about abolition of the project.

According to residents the usual railway crossing was working in a fine manner and apart from peak hour traffic jam, hardly there were any problems. Residents complain about the authorities who took up the underpass and now a big hole can only be seen on one side of railway line. 

Recent rains had only multiplied the problem into a non-tolerable one. The rains also left the stagnant water at the only functioning underpass in the neighbourhood, forcing residents to take a 10-kilometre detour.
