Title - East Coast Railway Employee Tops All India Railway National Painting Competition

Railway Board organized a national level painting competition on March 11, 2018 earlier this Sunday. Shri Shyam Sundar Achary emerged the top winner in the competition. Achary is an employee with East Coast Railway since 2008.

Achary's painting was themed on the title - "Transforming Railways"

In his paintings he out the elements of modernity of Bullet Train and New Technology from heritage concept of pre-Independence Indian Railways with its most famous passenger ever, the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. 

Railway Minister Piyush Goyal Tweeted - 
"A beautiful vision of Indian Rail progressing forward while honouring its heritage. Another gem from Railway painting competition."
