The Signal and Telecommunication Workshop of the Southern Railways at Podanur has launched the e-auction facility.A release from the Divisional Headquarters of the Salem Railway Division said that S.K. Sinha, Controller, Southern Railway, inaugurated the facility in the presence of Navita Singh, Chief Workshop Manager, and R.K.Dash, Chief Materials Manager, recently.The facility provided a common platform for scrap purchasers all over the country, enabling them to offer bids online.
