Title - Don’t inconvenience public, says Sreedharan

Utmost care should be taken to ensure that the public is not inconvenienced when work on the Kochi metro rail begins. The project will be completed within three years of the starting of the work, E. Sreedharan, Principal Advisor of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), told officials of DMRC.Addressing them here on Thursday, he said that a well-planned initiative has to be launched to ensure the safety of road users and the workers at different work sites.

Co-ordinated effort
He instructed DMRC officials to work amicably in co-ordination with their peers from State government departments.The DMRC will maintain cordial relations with Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) for the speedy completion of the project, Mr. Sreedharan said.
