Detention of Bengaluru – Karaikal passenger has caused railways 48 lakh rupees. During Jallikattu protest protesters had detained Bengaluru – Karaikal passenger from January 19 to January 23. During the five day detention period damages were made to the train.

The case is now being transferred from Railway Police to city police for further enquiry.
