Title - Delhi-Mumbai special train

The Western railways will be running a weekly Rajdhani-like superfast special train between Delhi and Mumbai via Ratlam from April 4 to June 28.

Railway sources said train number 09003 will run from Mumbai to New Delhi from April 4 to June 27 on Wednesdays. It will leave Mumbai Central at 23.15 pm and reach Ratlam at 7.40 am and New Delhi at 17.50 pm.

The train number 09004 between New Delhi and Mumbai from April 5 to June 28 on Thursdays. The train will leave New Delhi at 23.30 and Ratlam at 7.35, and will reach Mumbai Central on Friday at 16.20.

The train will have a first AC, II AC, III AC and a pantry. The total number of passenger coaches would be 14. The special Rajdhani-like trains will stop at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, ratlam, Kota and Mathura.

No Waiting List tickets will be issued! There will be no Waiting List Snake-and-Ladder games for this train as only Confirmed and RAC tickets will be issued. Once RAC gets over, you will see REGRET. Very unconventional!
No Quotas or Goodies: Ticket Quotas like Tatkal, Ladies, Lower Berth, HO, DF etc, Modification of booking, Upgradation options and Concessions of any kind will NOT be allowed for these trains. What a break from tradition!
Tickets will be available through IRCTC only! This means that you cannot book tickets on this train through PRS Reservation Center counters which is very unorthodox for IR! But tickets for empty berths if any can be bought from Current Booking counters after charting is done.
