Title - Delhi-Kaithal train from this year

After a long wait of nearly seven years, the Railways on Tuesday announced plans to start train services between Delhi and Kaithal from this year.The move for this service was initiated and pushed by the Member of Parliament from Kurukshetra, Naveen Jindal. The Kaithal-Delhi direct service will be a DEMU train (Diesel-Electric Multiple Unit) running between Delhi and Kurukshetra via Kaithal.In a statement here, Mr. Jindal said people of Kaithal who have to commute to Delhi will now find a convenient mode of transport to reach the Capital. Earlier they had to board trains at Kurukshetra railway station.
