Namma Metro Reach 3 between Sampige Road and Peenya, covering 10.5 km, scheduled to become operational in April 2013, will be delayed by four more months.BMRCL Managing Director N. Sivasailam blamed the delay on the construction of a bridge over the railway line in Malleswaram.Reach 4 connecting K.R. Road and Puttenahalli, a distance of some 7 km, will be completed in the last quarter of 2013 while the entire Phase 1, stretching 42 km, will be ready in April-May 2014, Mr. Sivasailam said. |
