Central Railway of Mumbai Division took many steps to popularize UTS mobile app after initial launch which seems to be paying off slowly with daily booking of tickets crossing 10000 mark on app.

Team appointed by Central Railway specifically to promote UTS mobile app did many campaigns at Koparkairane, Khandeshwar, Badlapur, Thane, Airoli, Ghansoli and Sanpada stations. Through promotional campaigns travellers were introduced to app explaining how to download and use besides explaining the various features integrated in app.

UTS mobile app was also promoted on Social media through handles of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Divisional Railway Manage. Other modes of popularisation include audio jingles, bulk SMS, video spots and advertisements.

Numbers suggests that  ticketing through UTS App has increased from 3,851 in April 2017 to 9,056 in December 2017 and daily average passengers increased from 24,084 in April 2017 to 45,711 in December 2017.
