Title - Contractor fires in air

RANCHI: A railway contractor opened fire in air from his personal revolver immediately after coming out of the divisional railway manager's office in Ranchi on Friday.Police said Vivek Kumar Singh was surrounded by around 8-10 criminals. Police said no one was injured in the firing.The contractor had attended a meeting on tender process at the railway office. An FIR was lodged with Jagannathpur police station following the statement of the contractor."We are investigating the matter and it will not be correct to make any comment at the moment," said officer in charge of Jagannathpur police station Sanjay Kumar.
