Title - Commute within Bengaluru efficiently and quickly by train

Last week Karnataka state government signed a MoU with Railways to introduce commuter rail system in the city of Bengaluru. This will enhance quick mobility solution within the city for daily commuters but execution is likely to take some time.

Currently there are intercity trains that can be used by commuters to go across the Bengaluru in half the time and at a fraction of cost. State government wants to boost travelling through trains so that excess load on city roads can be cut down. There had been several articles in the newspapers highlighting the benefits of train travel within the city.

A filmmaker Pradeepa is working on a documentary to educate people about trains and their ease of travel. Those who book cabs using apps know how convenient the service is. Soon, there will be an app that will let you track trains in real-time and also give you other useful information.
