Patna: In view of the mad rush of students from Bihar, who have to appear for the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) entrance examination in Bangalore on May 6, the East Central Railway (ECR) has decided to run two special trains.These two trains, besides the Patna-Bangalore Sanghmitra Express which runs daily, are all the more necessary as, according to one estimate, around 70,000 students have to reach Bangalore/Mysore by May 5 to appear for the examination the following day.The first exam special train (05289) will originate from Barauni on May 2 at 6:20 pm and leave for Bangalore via Patna. The second exam special train (03289) will leave Patna junction with thousands of students on May 3 and reach Bangalore on May 5. |
