Title - Collectorate march against high-speed rail corridor

Kozhikode: A collectorate march was held against the high-speed rail corridor project from Mangalore to Thiruvananthapuram, which was attended by many, including women and children. Thayat Balan inaugurated the march, which was led by High Speed rail resistance committee. Thayat Balan said the project would make thousands homeless and affect the environmental structure of the corridor. People residing at Malaparampa, Kakkodi, Kannadikkal, Chelapram, Kacheri, Parambathuthazham and Oloppara participated in the march. In Kakkodi, merchants shut down shops in protest.
