Title - Coimbatore - Bengaluru double-decker train to be inaugurated from June 10

Double decker Uday express from Bengaluru will be flagged off on June 10. Besides flagging of train a passenger lift for platforms 3 and 4 at the junction will also be dedicated to passengers. Both the lift and UDAY express were ready for for the inaugural.

Also Southern Railway will introduce heritage Nilgiris mountain rail that will run Friday and Saturday every week. The train would take tourists from Udhagamandalam, formerly Ooty, to the town of Ketti and back. The service is in addition to the trip between Mettupalayam and Coonoor during weekends.
