At a meeting with railway officials of the South Eastern Railways (SER) in his office on Tuesday, Chief Minister Arjun Munda pointed out that while implementing new and ongoing projects in Jharkhand, the railways must share revenues with the state. Munda also demanded a wagon-making factory in Kharsawan near Chakradharpur. During the meeting, AK Verma, general manager of SER, said the Malda-Surat train would pass through Ranchi. There would also be a Hatia-Secunderabad train twice a week. The inter-city express between Ranchi and Dumka via Deoghar would also be started this year. |
