Title - Change in pattern of Suburban train services between Chennai Beach and Korukkupet

To facilitate engineering works between Chennai Beach and Korukkupet, Southern Railway will impose rail traffic block from May 23 to June 22. This will affect pattern of sub-urban train services as per details -

Train number 43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, departing Chennai Beach at 01.20 AM, will depart from MMC at 01.20 AM thereby partially cancelling the EMU local between Chennai Beach – Washermenpet.

Train number 42608 Gummidipundi – Chennai Beach EMU local, scheduled to depart Gummidipundi at 09.40 PM and reach Chennai Beach railway station, will instead reach MMC railway station.Therefore, the service between Washermenpet – Chennai Beach will remain partially cancelled.
