Title - Change in composition of Pandian, Cholan and Rockfort Express trains

Railway has announced change in composition of three express trains - 

  • Pandian Express,
    Cholan Express and
    Rockfort express
One AC 3 tier coach will be added in all these three trains and one Sleeper Class coach be removed.
Accordingly, 
  • Train number 12638 / 12637 Madurai – Chennai Egmore – Madurai Pandian express trains,
  • Train number 16795 / 16796 Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore Cholan express trains and
  • Train number 12654 / 12653 Tiruchchirappalli – Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli Rockfort express trains -
Will run with revised trains composition from August 20, August 21 and August 21 respectively as given below - 
  • AC first class - 1 coach
  • AC second class - 3 coach
  • AC third class - 5 coaches
  • Sleeper Class - 9 coaches
  • General Second Class - 3 coaches
