Title - Chandrapur & Ballarshah stations awarded most beautiful stations of Indian Railways

Central Railway’s Ballarshah station and Chandrapur station bagged first prize for the Most Beautiful Stations on Indian Railways. Among 62 entries from 11 Zones on Indian Railways, these two stations came out on the top. The Award carries an amount of Rs.10 lakhs. 

All the entries were reviewed by a Committee consisting of Executive Directors of Station Development, Tourism, Passenger Marketing and other departments.

Ballarshah and Chandrapur have been beautified by paintings and sculptures of the Tadoba jungle.
