Title - Bomb threat puts Madurai Railway Station on high alert

Security has been put on high alert in Madurai Railway Station, one of the major railway stations in South Tamil Nadu, after an anonymous caller warned that a bomb would explode in the station this evening.Police said an anonymous phone call was made to the railway control room claiming that a bomb would explode at 1700 hrs, this evening inside the station.On a complaint from the Station Manager, the Government Railway Police along with Railway Protection Force and sleuths of Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad were jointly conducted a major search operation in and outside the station premises.
