Title - Bhubaneswar Railway station now equipped with card swiping machines

To promote cashless transaction East coast railway has introduced Card Swiping machines on all ticket reservation counters on Bhubaneswar Railway station. It will help passengers / people to complete their transaction digitally.

Chief commercial manager Binayak Prasad Swain and Financial advisor inaugurated POS machines in presence of Debaraj Panda, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM)/Khurda Road.

This move will help people to complete their transaction with help of their credit or debit card as they have been doing at other merchant stores.

The reservation counters at all major railway stations will be equipped with POS or card swipe machines.​
