MARGAO: After a hot chase along the Margao railway station tracks, RPF constables EshwarRao and ShivappaRathod nabbed alleged notorious bag thief AshokPatil, a native of Hattigola, Karwar. They recovered from him a handbag, a bag containing clothes, two cellphones and 2,100. Patil had allegedly snatched the same from two passengers of the Matsyagandha Express on Monday morning. Sources said he has confessed to also snatching a bag containing 1 lakh a month ago. Patil was handed over to the Konkan railway police for further investigation.
