Air Travellers Association (India) has commended the efforts of the Divisional Railway Manager of Waltair Division of East Coast Railway (E. Co. R) and Rajya Sabha Member T. Subbarami Reddy for their initiatives in the introduction of several new trains.The tri-weekly Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Duronto Express, which was pending for a long time, Visakhapatnam – LTT Super fast Express, Puri-Yeswantpur Garib Rath, Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Super fast Express and diversion of Bhubaneswar-Pune Super fast Express have all materialised as a result of their constant follow up, according to a statement issued by ATA (I) president D. Varada Reddy on Friday.He appealed to them to strive for introduction of a special trains to Trivandrum for the benefit of Ayyappa devotees, Varanasi (pilgrims) and Jodhpur (tourism) and in the diversion of five more trains which are bypassing Visakhapatnam Station.Mr. Subbarami Reddy, who is also Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Science and Technology, is arriving in the city on Saturday. He will participate in the valedictory of the CMR VJF Inter media sports tournament at the Swarna Bharathi Indoor Stadium near Bullayya College. |
