Title - Arjuna Awardees Entitled to Travel by Rajdhani / Shatabdi Express

The Arjuna Awardees holding Complimentary Card Passes, for life long free train travel all over India, issued by Indian Railways in honour of their achievements in the field of Sports are now entitled for travel in 2nd AC and 3rd AC in Rajadhani Express and Chair Carin Shatabdi Express also. Earlier, Arjuna Awardees are entitled for free travel in 1st Class / 2ndACby all trains except by Rajdhani Expresses / Shatabdi Expresses / Duronto Expresses.

The companion allowed for an Arjuna Awardee when he attains the age of 65 years shall also be entitled to travel in the same Class along with Arjuna Awardee in Rajdhani / Shatabdi Express.

This privilege is extended to Arjuna Awardees o­nly and not to other sports persons who are Olympic Medalists, Gold Medalists in Asian/Common Wealth Games and Dronacharya Awardees who are holding Complimentary Card Passes issued by Indian Railways.
