Title - Appeal to railways

The Kanyakumari District Railway Users’ Association here has urged the Indian Railways to install modern fire safety equipment in all the trains to prevent the fire mishaps and to ensure the welfare of the passengers. According to the president of the forum S.R. Sree Ram, train accidents are frequent . The association has also demanded the authorities to fix to more ‘easy-to-operate’ emergency exists in every coach and fix emergency lights.
