Title - Antony’s advice to army officers

New Delhi: Alarmed with the cases of suicides and fratricides in the armed forces, defence minister AK Antony on Thursday took stock of the situation at a high level meeting. Antony directed all officers to take adopt a liberal approach to leave applications of jawans and to respond promptly. He also directed the officials to talk to the railways ministry to ensure that jawans get confirmed reservations in trains while going on leave.
