Title - Andheri Birdge collapses in Mumbai, 5 injured 2 critical

Due to heavy rains in Mumbai a portion of Andheri West Bridge fell on railway tracks obstructing train movement. This has led total disruption of Western Suburban train movement between Andheri and Vile Parle.Railway officials including RPF staff and BMC fire brigade were rushed to the spot to handle the situation. It is still not clear that if anyone is trapped under the debris.

Over 5 people are said to injured out of which condition of 2 people are critical. The fallen portion of bridge also damaged high tension electric wires, platform roof  and over head equipment.

Piyush Goel tweeted - "Part of Road Over Bridge has fallen on tracks near Andheri Station impacting rail traffic. Directed officials to speed up repair work and rapidly restore traffic in close coordination with other departments. I have also ordered an enquiry by Commissioner of Rail Safety."
