The track doubling work between Ajmer and Beawer begun on Wednesday. The long pending line between the two stations is 50 kilometres approx long and once complete will benefit daily commuters immensely as it will cut down commuting time to great extent. North Western Railway general Manager Anil Singhal also inaugurated various other facilities. He said – “Doubling of the line will increase speed of trains in this section and will benefit passengers.” The doubling cost will come around 225 crore he added. | ||
