Jaipur is now a double-decker train ride away from the Capital.Passengers to the Pink City can take a pleasurable ride on the AC double-decker train, with the railways flagging off the unique service on Friday.The train, which will chug between Delhi's Sarai Rohilla and Jaipur stations, will carry 120 passengers in a coach as compared to 80 passengers in a conventional coach. A one-way ticket will cost just Rs347.Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit and railway minister Mukul Roy flagged off the train in Delhi on FridayThe train leaves Delhi at 5.35 pm and reach Jaipur at 10.05 pm. The train, during the return journey, leaves Jaipur at 6 am and reaches Delhi at 10.30 am. The train will stop for two minutes each at Delhi Cantonment, Gurgaon and Gandhi Nagar.Railway minister Mukul Roy flagged off the train with chief minister Sheila Dikshit, a host of other politicians and senior railway officials attending the function.The first of the double-decker trains in the country started running last year between Howrah and Dhanbad. The Mumbai-Ahmedabad route is next in the line to have such a train.All the coaches are designed with anti-climbing technology and have crash-worthy shells.
