Waltair Division was awarded the sports shield of East Coast Railway for its good performance in sports, the sports events it conducted and infrastructure developed during 2011-12, during the 57th Railway Week celebrations at the ECoR headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Friday.Divisional Railway Manager of Waltair Division N. Kashinath received the shield from General Manager of East Coast Railway Indra Ghosh and president of East Coast Railway Sports Association D.K. Samantray during the function, Sports Officer and Senior Divisional Operations Manager of Waltair H.S. Bajwa said in a press release on Saturday.Assistant Sports Officer C.V. Naik was present.
