The 121st Birth Anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was celebrated at Southern Railway Headquarters on 16.4.2012. Shri A. Balraj, IAS, Ex. Chairman, Tamil Nadu Electricity Regulatory Commission was the Chief Guest. Essay and Quiz competitions for wards of employees were conducted and prizes distributed. Shri N.K. Prasad, Chief Personnel Officer, Southern Railway welcomed the gathering. Dr.G. Narayanan, Addl. General Manager lauded the services of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar to the society. Representatives of Southern Railway Mazdoor Union, Dakshin Railway Employees Union, All India SC ST Railway EmployeesAssociation and All India Other Backward Classes Railway Employees Association spoke on the occasion. Officers & staff of Southern Railway participated in the function. The function concluded with vote of thanks by Shri K. Manickaraj, Senior Personnel Officer, Southern Railway.
