Title - NCR GM inspects sleeper plant

ALLAHABAD: General Manager of the North Central Railway AlokJohri inspected Concrete Sleeper Plant located at Subedarganj. Top officers of North Central Railway were also present during the inspection.

The general manager inspected the procedure of making of the concrete sleeper which is used for laying of the railway tracks. He also examined the other procedures which gives strength to the concrete sleepers.

The general manager complimented the officers of the plant for producing high quality concrete sleepers. He stressed on production of more number of concrete sleepers to cater to demand of the railways.

About 500 specialized concrete sleepers are being prepared each month in the Concrete Sleeper Plant.

Later, the inspection team visited Indian Railway Track Machine Training Centre (IRTMTC). General Manager of NCR Alok Johri inaugurated the newly constructed badminton hall and gym for the trainees. He said that the these new facilities would help in boosting the morale of the employees.

At IRMTC, training is imparted to the railway officers and employees of the various zonal railways and other public enterprise including, RITES, IRCON, and others who are related with the work of track maintenance.
