Title - GAUGE CONVERSION WORK INSPECTED

General-Manager of the North Eastern Railways KBL Mittal on Saturday carried out an inspection of the gauge conversion work being executed between Bareilley and Lal Kuan. It was pointed out that gauge conversion was in its last phase and was expected to be completed by June this year. Once the conversion is over, the Commissioner, Railways Safety, would be carrying out an inspection of the stretch. Mittal once again said removal of the encroachments on Railways’ land was causing delays in the execution of various projects aimed at enhancing the facilities being provided to the passengers.
