Title - Earth caves in close to rail track near Sulebhavi

A major accident was averted on Saturday when it was found that earth had caved in close to a railway track near an underbridge between Sambra and Sulebhavi stations.Officials at the Belgaum Railway Station were alerted about the incident at about 6 a.m. and all trains passing through this section were stopped.The track was repaired in four hours and the movement of trains resumed at about 11 a.m.However, the Miraj-Hubli Passenger was cancelled, and the Bangalore-Kolhapur Rani Channamma Express and Yeshwantpur-Ajmer Garib Nawaz Express were delayed, said sources.
